Kurama Fire Festival (鞍馬火祭り)
The Kurama Fire Festival, an unforgettable display of energy as the local townspeople parade massive (up to 150kg!) torches through the village, culminating in a giant bonfire. Undoubtedly one of the most intense events I’ve had the opportunity to capture.
